Perspective

Whenever something big is happening that is going to affect your life everything seems to blow out of proportion. People become stressed and narrow minded. And at times they loose their sense of "measurement". The magnitude of a situation always depends on ones mindset, it is important to stay grounded and always look at things from a different viewpoint. When its actually the end of the world, everyone will know it.

I have been trying to prepare myself for the worst, when these 26 days pass and the news is not what I wanted what will I remember when I look back on that day? An opportunity that was lost? Will I be thinking "If I only worked a little harder", those "coulda", "woulda", "shoulda's" will always rack ones brain. However one must gain a different perspective. Perhaps is wasn't meant to be, I firmly believe there is a purpose to ones life and that in the end the opportunity's given and taken lead us to this purpose.

And so with this I say take the negative bitter sweet moments in life with a gran of salt and move on, because life is worth living, even at the worst of times.

Or at least this is what my mindset is while I wait this long, horrific, mind numbing  3 weeks (26 days)
