I am making plans to go to the movies this weekend with a friend and now I have buttery popcorn and candy on the mind!
With my family there is a difference between candies, candy for "game night" and candy for movie night. Ever since I started going to the movies with friends I noticed how everyone has their own traditional candy or food, for us its Milk Duds and Popcorn! Always, sometimes its one or the other but never something different. To be completley honest I actually never really noticed the variety of candy offered outside of the occasional Sour-Patch bag that my brother always asked for.
I find it interesting how molded we are by our experiences with our families. Better yet, how our characteristic differences are only noticed when we are blended together and our "traditional" habits clash creating a noticeable difference.
With this I realize that no matter what we do, we will always bring a part of our family with us no matter where we go. Maybe its only because my time with my family has begun to trickle to a close that I notice these events that occur in everyday life but these moments are spectacular if you look at them with a deeper eye.
I cant say that I have a favorite all time movie but here are a few that cross my mind:
The Notebook, Forest Gump, The Social Network, & Titanic, What are yours?
