Fun Friday

In honor of this lovely Friday I have a fun activity-hence "Fun Friday"- at the bottom you will see a picture, take a close look at this optical illusion.

Friday's have always been relaxing because of the weekend that is promised after a long week of school work, a job and parenthood. It is a time when you can ponder, read, watch TV, watch movies, go in trips and on Sunday night cram in all the work you told yourself you would get done over the course of the weekends entirety. However the Friday before Spring Break holds a whole other purpose, it is a Friday filled with anticipation of the vacation soon to follow. And so to all those enjoying this Friday evening with the free feeling of Spring Break ahead of them I wish you an awesome break, for those who are not experienceing this type of Friday I wish you a wonderful ordinary but just as awesome end to a long week.
(I choose not to reference the already over "talked" song Friday by a Rebecca Black. Although I must admit I am afraid I will never not think of this song on a Friday which saddens me)

Thoughtful Thursday

  Although so many people have paid their respects to this Hollywood icon I figure one more can not hurt. Miss Elizabeth Taylor died this week do to heart issues. She was the epitomy of old Hollywood glamor and style. She was always dressed head to toe in fabulous cloths and jewelry. This is a lost "art" now a days in Hollywood.

 A side from her movie fame and love life scandals she also helped promote research and awareness towards HIV/AIDS, something unheard of at the time. 

As Elizabeth puts it, "she lived".

My Beginning

Hello and welcome,

Let me start off by saying I am ecstatic to be starting this adventure, this is something  I have always wanted to do and I have finally found the courage. I must say that my main inspiration comes from this lovely lady,  http://chalk-jenny.blogspot.com/, please check her out because her blog is amazing. It is full of color, originality and her posts always hold a comical/peaceful element. We also share a few common loves, Gilmore Girls, Tom Welling, Smallville, reading and many more.

A few things you should know about me, I knit when I can, I love the rain- to me it is calming and peaceful- I am a huge Harry Potter fan (books and some of the movies), I am inspired by Michelle Williams and Emma Watson's short hair and someday hope to cut mine "boy short" too, I secretly wish I had an English/Australian accent and I hope to travel the world someday-preferably England and Paris- I know its cliche.
